Wirral Council Procedures and Guidance for Social Care's Role Within the Education Health Care Process

SCOPE OF THIS CHAPTER

This chapter provides comprehensive information and guidance in respect of undertaking an Education Health and Care assessment and specifically focusses on the Children's Specialist Care service role. Appendices provide additional relevant support in understanding the role and tasks that the assessment process requires, including a good practice example, together with a Resources Appendix which includes relevant links to the Council for Disabled Children as well as a Team Manager Checklist.
